(family Crepidotaceae, order Agaricales
) A genus of fungi in which the fruit body has no stipe, or a very short stipe on the underside of the cap. The cap is small (up to 2–3 cm) and typically kidney-shaped or shell-shaped; gills are white or pale at first, becoming coloured cinammon or pinkish. They are found on wood or on other plant debris.
