Quick Reference
An investigative aid originally developed in the 1990s by Detective Inspector Kim Rossmo, PhD, of the Vancouver Police Department. It is based on an analysis of the locations of a connected series of offences, the characteristics of the neighbourhoods in which they have occurred, and the psychological profile of the offender, in an attempt to determine the most probable areas in which the offender might reside or work.
