Quick Reference

A src-family kinase (Csk homologous kinase, CHK) that negatively regulates the chemokine receptor CXCR4. Also thought to inactivate src-family tyrosine kinases (SFKs) by phosphorylating their consensus C-terminal regulatory tyrosine and noncatalytically by binding to hck, lyn, and src to form stable protein complexes. Not to be confused with checkpoint kinases (Chks).
