(1765–1825). Cornwall-born architect, who became Surveyor to Lord Grosvenor's Estates in Belgravia and Pimlico, London, in 1821. He designed numerous coun-try-houses in a Picturesque Gothic style, e.g. Wytham Abbey, Berks. (1809–10), and Middleton Stoney Rectory, Oxon. (1816–17).
