1 A weight-training exercise that strengthens the anterior muscles of the arm. The subject stands with feet shoulder-width apart, and holds a barbell or dumbbells with an underhand grip at thigh level, then brings the weight up to the chest and lowers it back to the thigh.
2 Form of abdominal exercise similar to a sit-up, but which involves curling the chin onto the chest, while the lower back retains contact with the ground.
