A large (1–8 μm) piece of membrane‐bound cytoplasm, containing the usual cytoplasmic organelles (but no nucleus) and one or more large lipid droplets, found in skimmed freshly secreted goat's milk. The droplets are capable of triglyceride biosynthesis.
