[Ir., two breasts of Ana; cf. ModIr. cíoch, breast].
Two round-topped hills, 2,273 and 2,284 feet, in Co. Kerry, 3 miles S of Knockacappal and 17 miles SE of Killarney. The survival of this place-name into Modern Irish bears testimony of the association of the goddess Ana with the province of Munster. Locally the hills are referred to as ‘The Paps’.
