Diet and Angina Randomized Trial; intervention trial in the 1990s to test the hypothesis that diets high in ω3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (as oily fish or fish oil supplements) would reduce death from cardiac arrhythmias, in men with stable angina. The results were negative, and there was increased mortality among those taking fish oil supplements.
