[Ir. ladrach, crooked-toed, splay-footed]. An early king of Ireland, son of Fiachu Tolgrach, known to be vindictive and a quick avenger of wrongs. He slew Airgetmar to gain the throne and was later betrayed by Lugaid Laígde, who had helped in the ousting. Some time later Airgetmar's grandson Aed Ruad murdered and displaced Lugaid.
