Toronto-based dance company of ten dancers directed by Robert Desrosiers (b Montreal, 1953) between 1980 and 1999. Desrosiers choreographed all of the company's repertory, his works, such as Jeux (mus. E. Cadesky and J. Lang, 1992), fusing dance with acrobatics, mime, and theatrical effects. The company toured Canada, the US, and Europe. Desrosiers also choreographed for other companies including National Ballet of Canada (Blue Snake, 1989). In 2004, he appeared as himself in Robert Altman's film The Company.
