Show Summary Details

Quick Reference

Suppose the human race is to exist a long time. Then you would be one of the first people. But it is very improbable that an arbitrary person is among the set occupying the very first segment of any population. It is more probable that one is not in such a segment, so it is more probable that the human race is not to exist a long time. The argument is not generally accepted.
