An order requiring a person to attend drug counselling. With effect from 1 October 2006, ss 1G and 1H of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (inserted by s 142(1) of the Serious Organized Crime and Police Act 2005) provide for a drug intervention order to be attached to anti‐social behaviour orders issued to adults whose anti‐social behaviour is drug related. A person who fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with any requirement included in the order is guilty of a summary offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding level 4 on the standard scale.
