Australian dancer, choreographer and director. He studied ballet and modern dance and danced with many companies including Ballet Rambert and the groups of Trisha Brown and Tharp, before becoming co-director of the Sydney-based company Dance Exchange (1976) which he continues to direct. His created works for it include Surround (1993) and The Oaks Café (ongoing 1997–2000). In 1985 he established the Dancelink programme, bringing international teachers and performers into Australia.
