An exercise for strengthening the deltoid, pectoral, and triceps muscles in the upper body.

▪ Stand upright, feet slightly astride and hold a dumbbell at shoulder height in each hand. Punch the dumbbell in your left hand upwards by fully extending your arm. Lower it to shoulder height and punch the other dumbbell upwards. Try to maintain a smooth rhythm, remembering to breathe in as each dumbbell is punched upwards, and to breathe out when it is lowered.
