French dancer. She studied at the Paris Opera Ballet School from the age of 10 and graduated into the company in 1989, promoted to first dancer in 1996 and named étoile in 1998 after her performance as Kitri in Nureyev's production of Don Quixote. A classically elegant, Parisian dancer, she has been especially renowned for her dramatic interpretations in both classical and contemporary repertories and has created roles in works by Brown, Preljocaj, Millepied, and Petit (Rythme de valses, 1994). In 2002 she guested with the Kirov in their production of Romeo and Juliet. She was gold medallist at Varna in 1992.
