An environmental art form associated with the Bulgarian artist Christo (b.1935), and his wife Jeanne-Claude, in which whole objects—buildings, bridges, even sections of landscape—are ‘wrapped’ in fabric. Among the monuments to have been wrapped by Christo are the Reichstag in Berlin and the Pont-Neuf in Paris.
