A rather ill-defined “new” disease that some authorities believe does not exist, with symptoms that include headaches, skin rashes, breathlessness, nausea, and vomiting, said to be caused by exposure to any or all of a range of environmental factors that are associated with modern urban living. Some people with it have symptoms similar to those associated with the sick building syndrome.
