Byzantine theologian. Nothing is known of his life except that it was at imperial command that he wrote his Panoplia Dogmatica, refuting all heresies. The section (27) on the Bogomils is, with the work of Euthymius, monk of the Peribleptos, the main source of information about them. He also wrote extensive biblical commentaries.
