American dancer. He trained at Terpsichore Expressions in Atlanta and at the School of American Ballet, joined New York City Ballet in 1988 where he was promoted to principal in 1995. A strong, charismatic dancer in the Balanchine repertoire, he has also created roles in many ballets, including Dove's Red Angels and Twilight, Ratmansky's Russian Seasons, Stroman's Double Feature, and Wheeldon's Klavier. He retired from NYCB in 2010.
