A questionnaire designed to measure two major dimensions of personality, namely extraversion and neuroticism, according to the theory of personality propounded by the German-born British psychologist Hans J(ürgen) Eysenck (1916–97). It was published in 1963 as a commercial test by Hans and Sybil B. G. Eysenck (born 1927), as a revision of the Maudsley Personality Inventory. See also Eysenck Personality Questionnaire.
