For a positive integer n, the notation n! (read as ‘n factorial’) is used for the product n(n−1)(n−2)…×2×1. Thus 4!=4×3×2×1=24 and 10!=10×9×8×7×6×5×4×3×2×1=3 628 800. Also, by definition, 0!=1.
