Argentinian dancer, choreographer, and director. She studied with A. Bulnes, then in Paris with V. Gsovsky and Zvereff, and later in the US. In 1959 she danced with Les Ballets de l'étoile in Paris, with Berlin Opera Ballet, and with Munich State Opera Ballet, then during the 1960s danced with London Festival Ballet. Between 1971 and 1976 she danced at Teatro Colón, with Washington Ballet, and Eglevsky Ballet, then from 1976 to 1977 returned to Teatro Colón as guest prima ballerina and artistic director. She was considered to be one of the great Giselles of her era. In 1980 she became artistic adviser to the Argentine Classical Ballet Foundation.
