Ballet in one act with choreography by Tetley, music by Stockhausen, and design by Baylis. Premiered 9 Nov. 1970 by Royal Ballet at Theatre Royal, Nottingham, with Bergsma, Kelly, Derman, O'Conaire, Clarke, Johnson, and O'Brien. It is constructed around a central pas de deux which is repeatedly disrupted by five other dancers. Nureyev danced part of the ballet in his film I am a Dancer (1972).
