Martyr, whose relics were bought from the monks of Bonneval by Abbot Ælfsi of Peterborough in 1016 and venerated there (as R.P.S. testifies) with those of Cyneswith and Cyniburg, is not easy to identify. His feast on 27 September might suggest that he was in reality Florentinus of Sedun, who suffered in the Vandal persecution.
