(orig. Dan. title Blomsterfesten i Genzano)
Ballet in one act with choreography by Bournonville and music by E. Helsted and H. S. Paulli. Premiered 19 Dec. 1858 by the Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen. It tells the story of two 19th-century lovers, Rosa and Paolo and while no longer performed in full a pas de deux from one of the ensemble dances has become a popular gala piece—a brilliant showcase for the Bournonville style.
