A colorless, tasteless powder or pill that dissolves readily in water or alcohol. It is licensed for use to treat narcolepsy, but it is more notorious as a date rape drug because it induces clouded consciousness, reduces or blocks memory of events that occur while under its influence, is a muscle relaxant, and can be manufactured in a home laboratory.
