Growth arrest-specific gene 6. The gene product contains γ‐carboxyglutamate, and hence requires vitamin K for its synthesis; it is important in the regulation of growth and development. Impairment of its synthesis in women treated with Warfarin during pregnancy leads to the neurological abnormalities of the fetal Warfarin syndrome.
