Protomartyrs of Milan. Nothing certain is known of them. In 386 St Ambrose, obeying a ‘presentiment’, dug in search of relics; two skeletons were recognized as the remains of these martyrs and transferred to a new church, where miraculous healings are said to have taken place. Feast day, 19 June.
