(1878–1962),
poet, contributed to Georgian Poetry. He published many volumes of verse and verse drama, much of it dealing somewhat conventionally with Northern rural themes; his experiences in the First World War inspired several shorter, sharper battle pieces, such as ‘Breakfast’. His Collected Poems 1905–25 appeared in 1926.
