Ballet in three acts with choreography by Froman, music by K. Baranovic, sets by A. Augustinic, and costumes by Inges Kostincer-Bregovac. Premiered 17 Jun. 1924 in Zagreb. It tells the story of a young man who gives a gingerbread heart to his fiancée and features a dream sequence in which gingerbread figures are brought to life. At the time it was one of Yugoslavia's most popular ballets.
