(fl.c. 1245–d. 1260).

English mason. From 1255 he carried out works at the Tower of London and Windsor Castle, Berks., and at the same time appears to have been in charge of the works at Westminster Abbey. He was a man of some substance, and his activities and responsibilities ranged far and wide, especially in regard to the Royal Castles, for he was involved at Oxford, Winchester, Gloucester, Porchester, and Salisbury Castles.
