Among his works is Gasworks Park, Seattle (1970–8—where disused gasworks were incorporated in the scheme), Bloedel Reserve, Bainbridge Island, Puget Sound, near Seattle (from 1985—featuring a sequence of gardens, a long pond, and a bird sanctuary), and Everett Marina Park (1970–2), all in Washington State.
