Works incl. operas Tobias Wunderlich (1937) and Die Hochzeit des Jobs (1944); oratorios Das Lebensbuch Gottes (1934), Lied von der Mutter (1939), Das Jahr im Lied (1952), and Die Seligen (1956); 2 str. qts. (1908, 1919); vn. sonata; and other choral mus. and song-cycles.
