Works, influenced by Elgar, incl. Mass in C and Requiem; cantata Cleopatra; suite Worcestershire Pieces; Cornish Sketches for str., Bredon Hill for vn. and orch., str. qt., songs, etc. Contributor to various books on mus.; specialist on Brahms.
