a poet of the school of Chaucer and Lydgate, was groom of the chamber to Henry VII. His Passetyme of Pleasure or The Historie of Graunde Amoure and La Bell Pucel (1509) and his Example of Vertu (1512), both allegorical poems in rhyme‐royal, were printed by Wynkyn de Worde.
