Usually called coefficient of haze (CoH). This is a measure of the atmospheric impedance of light caused by suspended atmospheric particles or aerosols. It can be measured by absorption on a white filter paper of suspended particles when air is passed through the filter paper under a standard pressure or by means of light-scattering optical technology.
