(1931– ).

Polish-born Israeli architect. Eschewing the rigid right angles of International Modernism, he turned to crystalline geometry found in nature, as in his Synagogue, Military Academy Campus, Negev Desert (1969–71). Among his other works the extraordinary Spiral Apartment Building, Ramat-Gan (1981–9), and the Jewish Primary School, Berlin (1992–5), should be cited.
