(Raudten, Silesia, 1585–1647, Lissa), a Protestant author of hymns, became in 1612 pastor in Köben, but resigned his cure in 1638 because of ill health. His religious poetry, quickened by a deep personal sense of relationship to Jesus, is contained in several volumes; Devoti musica cordis (1630) and Sonntags- und Fest-Evangelia durchs gantze Jahr (1636) deserve special mention.
