The world's largest known meteorite, which lies where it was found in 1920 at Hoba Farm, near Grootfontein, Namibia. It is an iron-nickel ataxite with an estimated mass of 60 tonnes and a maximum width of 2.8 m. It produced no crater, but remains partly embedded in the ground.
