horizontal icicle plot

Quick Reference

In statistics, a graphical representation of successive steps of a cluster analysis in which the individuals or cases are represented in the display by the rows, and the steps of the analysis by the columns, with individuals or cases in the same cluster being joined by a vertical line. A horizontal icicle plot is especially useful when there are many individuals or cases so that a vertical icicle plot cannot fit across a single page. Compare vertical icicle plot.
