It catalyses a reaction between (5Z,13E)‐(15S)‐11α,15‐dihydroxy‐9‐oxoprost‐5,13‐dienoate and NAD+ to form (5Z,13E)‐11α‐hydroxy‐9,15‐dioxoprost‐5,13‐dienoate (15‐keto PGE2) and NADH.
