American dancer. She trained at the Dallas Metropolitan Ballet and the School of American Ballet, joining New York City Ballet in 2003 where she was promoted to principal in 2007. A light elegant dancer with powerful legs and feet, she performs the Balanchine and Robbins repertories as well as creating leading roles in Wheeldon's Rococo Variations and in Martins's Romeo and Juliet (Juliet) and The Red Violin.
