A epithet of Meghanāda, the elder son of Rāvaṇa, earned because he captured Indra and refused to release him from Laṅkā until the other gods had given him the gift of immortality. He is responsible for Hanumān's willing capture in the Rāmāyaṇa, and, in spite of his gift, dies in the battle for Laṅkā.
