The trade association for international traders in derivatives. Established in 1985, it focuses on the over-the-counter market (OTC) and seeks to establish codes of behaviour for the market. Most OTC derivative agreements now conform to ISDA standards as enshrined in the Association's master agreements (1992, 2002). Over 800 of the leading institutions in the market are members.
