The Java equivalent of Active Server Pages. It is a technology that allows the programmer to vary the content of Web pages which are sent back to a browser. For example, it enables rapidly changing pages to be developed for a financial reporting system, where changes to the underlying data occur every few seconds. Often abbreviated to JSP.
