Pierre Jonghelinck was a medallist active in Antwerp; his son (1) Niclaes Jonghelinck, a tax collector, owned a collection of mainly allegorical and mythological paintings. Niclaes's brother, (2) Jacques Jonghelinck, was a successful medallist and sculptor, patronized by the Habsburgs and important Netherlandish clients.
