A questionnaire designed to measure the extent to which the respondent believes in a just world. It contains statements such as Basically, the world is a just place; When parents punish their children, it is almost always for good reasons; and By and large, people get what they deserve. It was designed by the US psychologist Zick Rubin (born 1944) and the English-born US psychologist (Letitia) Anne Peplau (born 1945) and was published by them in two articles in the Journal of Social Issues in 1973 and 1975.
