Ethnic group of Tanzania; also known as Kerewe.

The Kerere primarily inhabit northern Tanzania, just south of Lake Victoria. Others live on Ukerewe Island in Lake Victoria itself. They speak a Bantu language. Approximately 100,000 people consider themselves Kerere.
