A theologian of the Pratyabhijñā school of Kashmir(i) Śaivism, and pupil of Abhinavagupta. He was the author of a number of works of non-dualistic theology, including the Pratyabhijñāhṛdaya and an authoritative commentary on the Svacchanda Tantra.
