In tantric mystical physiology, the channel (nāḍī) to the right of the avadhūti which starts in the right-hand nostril and terminates at the anal orifice. It is visualized as a fine red tube and the energy or ‘wind’ (vāyu) flowing through it is thought to generate the subjective aspect of cognition. Like the rasanā channel, it is thought to coil around the avadhūti and form knots at the cakras of the the navel, heart, throat, and the crown of the head.
